Inline
Water Level Control Structure Regulate the operating water level of your pond, marsh, wetland and wastewater system by installing Canadian Pond's most recommended Inline valve. A sliding series of Stoplogs control the flow and level off the discharge pipe. The valve is easy to install and simple to operate. Highly effective in ponds, agricultural and horticultural farming, golf courses, wetlands and conservation areas. The entire structure is rugged 1/2" PVC with a heavy steel locakable top for security and safety. Stainless steel screws and custom anodized aluminum corner extrusions are standard for extreme durability and strength. Stoplogs are 5" and 7" for the most precise level control managment. ![]() Both the inlet or inline structure (see below) can be used for primary or secondary outlet with larger pipe or emergency spillway as primary. Inline structure removes sub-surface water. On the inline installation, the inlet end of the pipe should be held off the bottom of the impoundment to allow for siltation and be protected with an inlet bar guard. The outlet end should be protected with a rodent quard. In a controlled drainage or sub-surface irrigation application, the structure nearest the outlet should be installed with a minimum of 20' of non-perforated pipe on the down stream end. Anti seep collars are recommended. Inline Water Level Control Structure Details This
valve is ideal for allowing total manipulation of the depth of a basin. By adjusting
the gates inside the valve you can precisely control or change the depth of your
pond. By lifitng all the gates open you can easily drain the pond rapidly and
by closing all the gates you can allow the pond to fill to it's maximum depth.
The Inline water control structure is available to fit pipe sizes from 4" to 24" and in heights from 2 feet to 12 feet. Canadianpond.ca also carries a complete selection of bar guards and rat guards to prevent debris, fish and critters from getting into pipes. Anti-seep collars are also available for all pipe sizes to make your valve installation project work smoothly and get done right the very first time.
Inlet Water Level Control Structure
The inlet valve is built to the same high standards as the Inline model and is a good choice if precise water level management is not a prime concern. Installing the inlet control system in your dam is a permanent way to securely maintain a maximum depth. Available in 4" to 24" pipe sizes and from 2' to 6' in height. ![]() Water Control Structure Installation Instructions Pertains to both the inlet water control structure and the inline valve 1. EXCAVATION AND GRADING The base of the structure base, and the outlet pipe must be set on firm, flat surfaces of compacted soil or concrete pad to provide a solid, stable base. This prevents settling and reduces stress or misalignments of pipe connections. 2. PIPE CONNECTION Remove tape from outlet flex coupler exposing stainless steel clamps. Flex coupler must be placed directly over the outside diameter of the pipe; then secured by tightening the stainless clamps. 3. BACK FILL AND COMPACTION Level the water control structure vertically before permanantly anchoring ot. Backfill around the structure by hand only in 6" lifts. This structure must be anchored down when installed or it may have a tendancy to rise and or float. Hand tamp only - do not mechanically compact. Never use a backhoe or blade to place backfill directly against the water control structure. Call 450-243-0976 or email us for prices.
